Thank you to all the friends and family who came to the Shady Grove Holiday Program. Students did a wonderful job of sharing the cultural traditions of countries from around the world. We are especially proud of our third grade students who performed several songs in Japanese!! As we celebrate the holidays here in America, Japanese people will be celebrating oshogatsu, or the New Year, on January 1st. We hope that you have a blessed holiday season and look forward to seeing students back January 2nd!
Third grade students will perform during the Holiday Program! Students in Mrs. Taylor's class (3-02) and Mrs. Wheeler's class (3-03) will sing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" in JAPANESE. Students in Mrs. Adams' class (3-01) and Mrs. Smith's class (3-04) will sing "yuki (snow)" which is a famous Japanese children's song. Don't forget to come watch them perform :)
