Fraser Sensei is from Nashville, Tennessee. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Memphis. During college, he studied abroad at Nagoya University in Nagoya, Japan and later went on to teach English in Japan for three years. He is happily married and loves to hike, camp, cook, and study history. This is his fifth year teaching with the Japanese program.

Suzuki Sensei was born in Tokyo, Japan but lived in America from third grade through tenth grade. She graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo and received a B.A. degree with majors in International Studies and English as a Foreign Language. She received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the University of Memphis. Her hobby is traveling because she loves to meet new people and explore different cultures. This is her fifth year working with the Japanese program.
