Congratulations for making it through your first week of Japanese class, students! The Japanese teachers have been blown away by your enthusiasm and effort - keep it up! Having gone over our classroom rules and procedures, we're going to jump right into our first unit: I Am A Star! In this unit, you will learn to say basic phrases about yourself such as your age, body parts, and favorite activities. We'll also learn colors and how to count to ten. You can find out more by looking at the can-do statements for the unit here. Parents you can find out more information about our current unit here. The unit is based around the book, "I Like Me" by Nancy Carlson.
